Dr. Miles Yarbrough was born and raised in Savannah, GA. He graduated from Benedictine Military School in 2005. After high school, he attended the University of Georgia where he received a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. He is married to Carol Lee Yarbrough; both being alumni of UGA, they love any opportunity to support their Bulldogs.
Dr. Yarbrough then received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2016 from the Medical University of South Carolina. He was then selected for a 12 month Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in Augusta, GA at The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. In this residency program Dr. Yarbrough received extensive training in IV sedation, dental extractions, bone grafting, dental implants and the management of medically complex patients. During the residency, he and his fellow residents helped lead the AID MaxiCourse where general dentist learn to place implants. He placed 40 implants during this year, the most in his residency.
Dr. Yarbrough is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In their spare time, and he and his wife enjoy spending time with family and their two dogs, going to the beach, boating and traveling. Dr. Yarbrough also enjoys playing soccer with Savannah Soccer men's league; they came in second this year in the championship. He also plays golf whenever he gets the chance.
